Abstract

A study was carried out of the epidermis of 7 species and 2 subspecies falling to the sections Roburoides and Dascia of subgenus Quercus, spread on the Balkan Peninsula.

Five populations were studied of each taxon. The biometric data were processed by variation-statistical analysis. All epidermis elements were profoundly analysed. The labial index was calculated, as well as the density of the labia and trichomes.
